GOVERNMENT OF SINDH PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (Sindh Govt Jobs)

Planning & Development Department (P&DD) of the Government of Sindh focuses on policy, planning & development in the province. Deals with foreign aids through Donors / Ministries processing of all development schemes, programs and proposals and making recommendations to the government thereon is its prime responsibility.

Also monitors the progress and evaluation of development schemes and maintains liaison with the national planning agencies, ministries departments and donors. 2. Planning & Development Department. The government of Sindh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the USAID-IBI (International Business Initiatives) to cover digitization of Planning & Monitoring Systems at P&DD by introducing three (03) core web-based application/software namely; i) Annual Development Plan System for automating the preparation of Annual Development Budget, ii) Planning Commission Forms Management System (PCFMS) for amounting the PC-I to PC-V forms to create, submit, analyze for approve its information and iii) Performance Monitoring and Reporting System (PMRS) for capturing and amounting monthly progress reports of development schemes. 3. The required HR at Data Centre for Automation and Web Application Services will be responsible to deploy softwares and integrated solution, enabling data collection & utilization, generating reports, conduct analysis / visualization of the development portfolio. HR at Data Centre will be responsible for future software development. routine backup and Technical IT support to all the office within P&D Department as well. Planning & Development Department invites applications from the suitable individuals having required qualifications from HEC recognized institutions for an initial contract of 12 months and then further extension(s) based on working requirements and individual satisfactory performance against the following posts:

01.DIRECTOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) 01 Post

MPhil/Master's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering OR MBA(MIS)/MBA(IT) with CGPA 3 or above. At least 15 years of total working experience in the relevant field is essential either in the Private or Public Sector or both. SAP Certification will be an added advantage.

Age:35 to 45 Years

02.SENIOR DEVELOPER (.NET):

Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering / MBA Information Technology or Software Engineering with CGPA 3 or above. At least 08 years of total working experience in the relevant field is essential either in Private or Public Sector or both

OR

Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology) with CGPA 3 or above. At least 10 years of total working experience in the relevant field is essential either in Private or Public Sector or both.

Age: 30 to 40 Years

03. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (MICROSOFT SQL SERVER) 01

BS Degree (16 years of Education) (Computer Science/Software Engineering/MIS/IT) with CGPA 3 or above with at least 05 years professional experience in the 03 years of database administration and designing on major databases either in the Private Sector or Public Sector or both. Relevant Database Certification would be an added advantage.

25 to 40 Years

04. MOBILE DEVELOPER (ANDROID)

BS Degree (16 years of Education) (Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology) with CGPA 3 or above with at least 03 years professional experience either at Private/Public or both Sectors in Android Devices/Mobile Development and GIS APIs will be preferred.

Age: 25-35 Years
